Foster Parent Training Requirements

At REAL PEOPLE, training is about more than meeting requirements — it’s about feeling supported, prepared, and cared for as you care for others. Below is a simple overview of what’s required and how we support you along the way.

Our Approach to Training

We believe foster parents thrive when there’s balance.

Our training philosophy supports Mind, Body, and Spirit, encouraging awareness of stress, health, self-care, and reflection — all essential in preventing caregiver burnout and sustaining long-term care.

This approach is embedded in our Policies and Procedures and has guided REAL PEOPLE from the beginning.
